Rapid Prototyping for Embedded Systems using Open Source Tools
Date: on request | 3 days, 9.00 - 17.00
Training Fee: 1.790 Euro plus VAT tax
Training Description: PDF
Time to market is in many cases the most important requirement in the development of embedded systems. The goal of rapid prototyping is to get feedback on requirements, specifications and solutions in early stages of the project.
The participants learn the method of rapid prototyping and can realize it using open source tools. The focus of the seminar is on the methodical, tool-based approach with the aim of obtaining executable and secure specifications.
During the seminar, a sample project is systematically developed from the requirements through the application modeling stage and code generation up to tests. Tests are conducted both in a simulation environment and on the target platform. Here the knowledge about methods and tools is consolidated.
System architects, software architects, software developers.
Advanced software development skills and modeling experience (such as UML) are beneficial.
- Method: Rapid Prototyping for Embedded Systems
- Tools: Open Source Tools (for example, Eclipse eTrice)
- Seminar project: Joint development of a prototype for simulation and target
