HIL and SIL Live-Demos
Eclipseina presents an efficient solution to test the charging communication.
Encrypted charging communication

1. Introduction to TLS Encryption
The first part provides an introduction to TLS encryption, which is used in charging communication.
2. Encrypted Charging Communication
In the second part, the technical implementation will be discussed and you will learn how to configure the test system and test the encrypted charging communication.
Information about the test systems can be found here:
Speakers:
Annette Kempf from Eclipseina – introduction to encryption
Bernd Baranski from BBE
Live-Demonstration about encrypted charging communication
On 24.11.2022 the live broadcast about the encrypted charging communication will take place here:
What should be considered when testing encrypted charging communication?
The data is transmitted between the electric vehicle EV and the charging station EVSE in TLS encrypted form.
SIL: Testing the charging communication
Live-Demonstration of testing the charging communication between EVSE and EV.
On 21.06.2022 the live broadcast of the SIL test on the EVSE site took place here:
In most cases, developers lack the counterpart, i.e. either access to the electric vehicle or the charging pole, to fully test their own development samples. During testing, just testing the good case is not enough. You also want to check the reaction in the limit range and the correct behavior in the event of a fault and thus a test environment is needed.
In this Live Demo, we show you how such a test can be carried out successfully.
